After making lots of beautiful sterling silver Faith earrings, I decided to have a try using filled gold to make a golden pair! As a jeweller I am often sent photos of drawings by friends of jewellery they would like me to make for them. These Faith earrings are an example of this process.
After watching Keeping Faith I was asked to make a pair of the main female lead’s earrings. After adapting the finish, my version of the Faith earring was born! Made with filled gold, these earrings are delicate dangle earrings.
The hammered disk measures approx 1cm with the dangle hoop measuring a little less. They are stud earrings. There is a drop of approx 2cms. The dangly hoop is made with a twisted filled gold. Filled gold is a material where gold is bonded at a high temperature to a base metal. This bonding means that I can solder them.
These earrings come gift wrapped in a white jewellery box wrapped in CHJ tissue paper and tied with ribbon. A care card and thank you note are also included. If this is a gift, it can be sent directly to the recipient with a note, just add details when prompted.
