Have you heard of the #justacard campaign?  It is gathering a lot of momentum with a collaboration with Funding Circle who have managed to extend the reach of this fabulous campaign with the support of 15 celebrities who have become billboard superstars reading their favourite book.  Take a look at my favourite James Norton reading a book I am definitely going to google later and Hayley Mills reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens (my GCSE English text and a personal favourite of Mr H).

So #justacard..... started by Sarah Hamilton who read this quote from an independent store owner who had to close their shop, "If everyone who'd complimented our beautiful gallery had bought 'just a card' we'd still be open".  She has championed the independent shops, galleries and designer/makers telling the virtual world how much love goes in to every product and how even the smallest purchase goes a long way to continuing the rich diversity of talent and choice we have in this community.  

It doesn't always have to be a purchase..... a comment on a facebook or instagram post is brilliant - it means that someone is out there looking, a share to your own friends is fantastic...
