We loved our first Creative Workshop at Barrack House in Great Massingham and so we have put our heads together and planned a second one for 11th October. We are really looking forward to another wonderful day!
We have arranged our day again so that you can do one workshop in the morning and the other in the afternoon. During your jewellery making workshop, you will be able to make some chunky stacking rings. We will make one from copper to get the sizing right and practice soldering again. Then we will make 2 rings, one with a smooth round silver wire (which you can texture with a hammer if you want) and one made with beaded wire. They will need to be filed and finished before having a good polish whilst you relax!
The linocutting and printing workshop will follow the same format as before giving you an opportunity to develop the skills you were introduced to last time, you can bring different ideas and carve with more confidence and hone your printing skills.
All the specialist materials you will need will be provided for you, along with lots of help to create your prints and jewellery.
Our workshops will take place in Barrack House again, We will meet in the pub for an introduction and we will enjoy a light lunch there too. We will start at 9am with an introduction and coffee in the pub and then go to Barrack House for our creativity!
