How to size your wrist

Either measure the internal diameter of a bangle which you wear and is comfortable or, alternatively, tuck your thumb into your palm and wrap a measuring tape around your knuckles. This will give you the circumference measurement you need to size your wrist.

Necklace size guide

16" (Choker length)

Let's start with the choker length necklace - it's like a whisper of elegance around your neck, adding a touch of sophistication without being too flashy. All my necklaces are available in this length.

18" (Princess length)

Gracefully drapes just below the collarbone, offering a timeless and refined look that's suitable for any occasion. All my necklaces are available in this length.

20" (Matinee length)

The matinee length typically falls just above the bustline and is often used for more formal occasions or when you want to make a statement with your necklace. It's great for pairing with higher necklines. All my necklaces are available in this length.

30" (Opera length)

Long, luxurious, and oh-so glamorous. It makes a statement without saying a word, ideal for dark tops or dresses. Take a look at my Holkham Acorn necklace or my Star Anise necklace for this length.

I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to a shot plate stud earring workshop at my shop in Fakenham. This is a wonderfully creative workshop where you’ll get to explore the magic of melting silver and transforming it into something beautiful and completely your own.

We’ll begin by working with small snippets of silver, melting them down and learning how the metal behaves as it forms into little molten pools. Once cooled, you’ll place your silver into a selection of shot plates—each with its own design—and use either the hydraulic press or my hammer (affectionately known as the big whopper) to press your silver into shape.

There are lots of designs to choose from, including flowers, shells, hearts and stars—many inspired by the Norfolk countryside and coastline—so you can experiment and find the shapes that speak to you.

Once your earrings have taken form, you’ll learn how to solder the posts onto the back, before filing and polishing your pieces to a beautiful finish. By the end of the workshop, you should have created two pairs of handmade stud earrings, each one a small piece of handcrafted jewellery to take home and wear (or gift, if you can bear to part with them!).

All tools and materials are provided, along with plenty of guidance to help you create handmade earrings you’ll feel proud of. This workshop is perfect whether you’re completely new or simply curious to try a different approach to making jewelry.

Coffee, tea and a sweet treat will be provided too—because I firmly believe cake helps make better jewellery.

There is something so special about taking time out to make something with your hands. Whether you come along with a friend, a family member, or on your own, you will be welcomed into a relaxed, creative space where you can slow down, try something new and enjoy a few hours of making. If you do come on your own, you will be in the company of other like-minded creatives, and conversations tend to flow just as easily as the tea.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, I would love to have you at the bench—spaces are limited, so do book early.

To keep your jewellery looking its best:

  • Clean gently with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth.
  • Store in a dry place, ideally in its box or pouch.
  • Silver may naturally tarnish over time—use a polishing cloth to restore its shine.
