I sat on Holkham Beach in the sunshine with Small playing in the sand and thought about how a bangle could represent this beautiful place. The charms on the bangle are a Citrine stone for the sunshine, a lapis lazuli stone for the blue of the sea and the sky, a reticulated silver charm for the grains of sand on the beach and a little cupped heart with a mini gold filled heart to show how much we love our beach.
The disks are cut by hand by myself in my workshop, and measure approx. 1.5cm x 1.5cm. The bangle itself is made from 2.5mm sterling silver wire and so is a fairly chunky bangle.
This bangle comes hallmarked with my maker's mark as well as the stamp from the Birmingham Assay Office. It also is date stamped. Hallmarking is a legal requirement and gives you confidence in knowing that your bangle is indeed made of sterling silver.
