High Tide Wave Bangle – A Celebration of Movement & the Wild Sea

The sea is never still—and neither is this bangle. Inspired by the high tide on Norfolk’s coast, this silver bangle captures the energy and rhythm of waves rolling in. It’s made entirely by hand in my Norfolk workshop, using one of my heaviest hammers and a favourite process I find both meditative and rewarding (so long as I don’t miss the steel block!).

Each bangle begins with 2.5mm thick sterling silver wire, formed into a circle and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office. Then comes the wave: a beautiful transformation using a die press and plenty of care, giving each piece its signature shape. The High Tide Bangle is the most energetic of my three wave styles, with strong, curving movement that reflects the liveliness of a rising sea.

You can wear it alone, stack it with a smooth bangle for a soft, satisfying clink, or add an optional charm disc (approx. 0.8cm) stamped with your chosen initial.
