How to size your wrist

Either measure the internal diameter of a bangle which you wear and is comfortable or, alternatively, tuck your thumb into your palm and wrap a measuring tape around your knuckles. This will give you the circumference measurement you need to size your wrist.

Necklace size guide

16" (Choker length)

Let's start with the choker length necklace - it's like a whisper of elegance around your neck, adding a touch of sophistication without being too flashy. All my necklaces are available in this length.

18" (Princess length)

Gracefully drapes just below the collarbone, offering a timeless and refined look that's suitable for any occasion. All my necklaces are available in this length.

20" (Matinee length)

The matinee length typically falls just above the bustline and is often used for more formal occasions or when you want to make a statement with your necklace. It's great for pairing with higher necklines. All my necklaces are available in this length.

30" (Opera length)

Long, luxurious, and oh-so glamorous. It makes a statement without saying a word, ideal for dark tops or dresses. Take a look at my Holkham Acorn necklace or my Star Anise necklace for this length.

A Keepsake of Norfolk’s Natural Beauty.

Most days you’ll find me out walking in our beautiful Norfolk countryside with Barney, our loyal cocker spaniel. We wander through nearby villages and around the hidden corners of Fakenham. One of my favourite walks takes us around the duck pond at Hempton. Barney is fascinated by the ducks and always on the lookout for forgotten breadcrumbs, while I tend to find myself drawn to the seasonal details around us.

This summer, it was the poppies growing against the old flint and brick walls that caught my eye. I watched as they budded, bloomed, and then faded, leaving behind beautiful seed heads. I carefully picked a couple and used them to create this necklace.

Each poppy seed head has been cast in sterling silver, capturing its ridged, sculptural shape in lovely detail. The stalk becomes the loop for the chain, and the shaker top—where the seeds would once fall from—adds wonderful texture. This pendant has a pleasing weight to it, very similar to my whelk necklace, and feels grounding and tactile when worn.

It hangs from a beautifully finished curb chain—flattened, twisted links that lie comfortably and feel almost interlocked when worn.

Meaning & Gifting

Poppies are often seen as symbols of remembrance, peace, and resilience. This necklace makes a meaningful gift for nature lovers, walkers, or anyone who finds beauty in the changing seasons. A little piece of Norfolk’s countryside, captured in silver and made to last.

Carry a Piece of the Season

Inspired by gentle walks and fleeting summer blooms, this necklace is a small reminder of nature’s rhythm—handmade to bring a little stillness, strength, and seasonal beauty to your everyday.
