How to size your wrist

Either measure the internal diameter of a bangle which you wear and is comfortable or, alternatively, tuck your thumb into your palm and wrap a measuring tape around your knuckles. This will give you the circumference measurement you need to size your wrist.

Necklace size guide

16" (Choker length)

Let's start with the choker length necklace - it's like a whisper of elegance around your neck, adding a touch of sophistication without being too flashy. All my necklaces are available in this length.

18" (Princess length)

Gracefully drapes just below the collarbone, offering a timeless and refined look that's suitable for any occasion. All my necklaces are available in this length.

20" (Matinee length)

The matinee length typically falls just above the bustline and is often used for more formal occasions or when you want to make a statement with your necklace. It's great for pairing with higher necklines. All my necklaces are available in this length.

30" (Opera length)

Long, luxurious, and oh-so glamorous. It makes a statement without saying a word, ideal for dark tops or dresses. Take a look at my Holkham Acorn necklace or my Star Anise necklace for this length.

Pocket Key Necklace – A Symbol of Possibility, Memory & New Beginnings

There’s something deeply comforting about keys. I often keep mine tucked loosely in a big coat pocket, running my fingers over their smooth tops and squared edges—tactile, familiar, and full of meaning.

This silver key necklace is rooted in memory. It’s cast from the design of a key passed down to us by a close family friend, along with a small chest of treasured belongings brought with him from Canada. That one key sparked something—a connection to handwritten postcards, old black-and-white photographs, and the kind of stories whispered through generations.

Keys speak of more than locked doors. They symbolise opportunity, new beginnings, and the quiet strength it takes to turn towards something unknown. Whether it's the key to a first home, a long-dreamed-of garden gate (I always think of The Secret Garden), or a metaphor for personal growth, the idea of carrying a key close to your heart is powerful.

Lightweight and elegant, this sterling silver key hangs from a soft, slinky curb chain. The gentle curve of the chain slips perfectly through the heart-like top of the key, blending sentiment and simplicity in equal measure. You can also add a pearl for an extra touch—ideal for weddings, anniversaries, or simply marking a special moment.

Whether you’re gifting it to someone stepping into a new chapter or choosing it for yourself as a quiet reminder of inner strength, the Pocket Key is a beautiful symbol of hope and possibility.

Meaning & Gifting
This necklace is a thoughtful gift for anyone beginning something new—starting a job, moving home, getting married, or turning a page in life. Keys represent strength, transformation, and the idea that we already hold what we need to move forward.

Packaging & Extras
Each necklace arrives in a white Claire Howard Jewellery box, embossed with my gold logo and tied with ribbon. I include a care card, polishing cloth, and a handwritten thank-you note. Sending it as a gift? You can add a personalised message and gift bag at checkout, and I’ll wrap it with care, ready for its journey.

Why I Made It
So many of us carry talismans—things that hold memory, comfort, or meaning. This key was one of mine, and now it can be one of yours. A small, gentle piece that reminds us: the key to the next chapter might already be in your pocket.
